Shadowlessness, and how it feels.
This is the first post I’m writing from my new cellphone, Metis (using built-in wi-fi and cellphone keypad.)

I had my beloved Nokia 6600 (never named it…) for 4.5 years. I bought it in the summer of 2004 (I think!) and it underwent a lot in my hands, including a moving car. My largest problem with changing my phone was the data migration which the new phone (a Nokia E66) did very happily on its own, without even the need for a PC (although the syncing process got interrupted a couple of times somewhere in the middle of several thousand text messages.)
Anyways, the new phone is “Metis”, the wise Titan who became – after the Olympians defeated and subdued the Titans – the mother of Zeus’s first child, Athena. It had apparently been foretold that Zeus and Metis’s second child will be a boy and he would exceed Zeus in power and would supplant him. That’s why Zeus never bedded Metis after Athena (whose birth had a mind-bugling story of its own!)
From the second I read about this second child, I couldn’t stop thinking that it was Kratos! The first person I told the story to (Siamac)(corrected)) suggested exactly that as well!
By the way, I believe the name is pronounced as “MAY-TIS”.
Happy new mobile pheune : )
p.s. you may want to correct your friend’s link up there.
my mobile pheune is the best in the world Nokia 1100.
its fast, reliable, has lots of battery charge always, doesnt get hacked, freezed, blue teuthed. it also has a torch! never is out of fashion, is pixel arty, can bebe statically casted to a melee weapon, has two cameras but one microphone.
p.s. its has a record on its own, guess what it is.
