Do you ever look at the horizon and see the clear sky, and yet know that there’s a storm coming? I know this never happens outside of movies, but I’m not talking literally here.
Do you ever get the feeling that the world we live in, or better yet, the country we live in is on the verge of anarchy? Do you feel that we are so close to an explosion that will again shake this already shaken and injured people to their bones? Do you hear the prayers of them for mighty storms to wash away the filth on the surface of the stale pond? Do you fear that the great storm will mix the filth right into the water and will raise the scum at the bottom to the surface?
Do you think there’s a storm coming?
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind…

No one wants another destructive revolution, and yet it seems inevitable. For someone with my conditions, probably the most logical choice is to never look back, taking into account the fact that patriots went distinct during the stone age.

Patriotism is a very interesting subject for me.
You see, it seems to me that patriotism is basically a subset of racism, which means preferring one group of people to others based only on some random secondary trait.
The first time it occurred to me I went through a major “Wow!” moment. Up to that point, I implicitly considered patriotism a moral virtue and an obligation. But the more I thought about it, the more I was convinced that the slave-masters of old must have felt the same about the precedence of white race over black. And I felt unclean and disgusted with myself.

Well well…. lets not be so cruel to patriotism here … either way the truth is that every individual will be much stronger as part of a team and most people need to be part of teams, now patriotism is just another term that can form teams for people and make them stronger, for whatever goals they might have, ideally their goals should overlap. There could be many other kind of teams too. Doesn’t matter. Racists can form teams, but what is unacceptable is for any of these teams to start and perform some actions that will have negative impacts for everyone else, including the team members themselves.
Patriotism is cruel when everybody in US gets brain washed after 911 to stick a US flag outside their window and start and discriminate everyone else and be frightened to death everyday. Make their living environment harder to live for themselves along with others.
Patriotism is great when the people of Japan accept to bear the tough days after world war two in hope of better future for their Country which means for each and every one of them.
We just should be careful not to get fooled by the team captains.
