How is it possible? I mean, how can a sci-fi TV show be better than Battlestar Galactica?! If you have seen it, you know what I’m talking about. The cool characters, the interesting, mature and uncompromised story and the complicated and deep plot makes it almost unique. Even sci-fi movies don’t have this kind of pull. “Bill Adama” is one of my favorite characters in all of the fiction I’ve read/seen of heard.
But recently, my brother casually suggested this new series called “Heroes” to me. I was not particularly intrigued, but I dow^H^H^H^H acquired(!) the pilot anyway and watched it… and my life in the past two weeks have been like this: wait for the “acquisition” of the next episode to finish, watch it like mad, then curse yourself and goto 10!
The pace is so fast. The personages (rather than the characters) are very interesting. But I have to warn you, it’s more like X-Men type of sci-fi, but with an actual plot line than doesn’t look like to be written for 10 year olds.
Although the basis of the story is really simple, the plot is so full of twists and turns that some of them are even surprising! All in all, a great watch!

I recently watched the whole series of Due South. I don’t know if you remember it, but it was about a Benton Fraser from Royal Canadian Mountain Police. And I did watch it like mad too, except for the fact that I first downloaded all of the episodes and then watched the whole 51 hours in 3 days!
I think you just gave me the idea of how to fill the Christmas holidays.
